Each design that we create is born from dialog, from what we share and exchange during the experimental exercise in the workshops. They come as a result of intertwined sensitivities. We value collective knowledge that goes deep into memory. Who invented the first pot or the first comal? We believe in sharing and in the free dissemination of ideas.
Cada diseño que creamos nace del diálogo, de lo que compartimos e intercambiamos durante los ejercicios experimentales en talleres. Son el resultado de sensibilidades entretejidas. Valoramos los saberes colectivos que hunden sus raíces en la memoria. ¿Quién inventó la primera olla o el primer comal? Creemos en el compartir y la libre difusión de saberes.

Cuando estimamos el precio de cada pieza nos basamos en un sistema de costeo que nos ayuda a definir el precio por hora de producción y lo necesario para llevar una vida digna. El 40% de cada pieza que tú adquieres, se destina a nosotras, las artesanas , mientras que el margen de ganancias va para los diferentes fondos sociales de la cooperativa (educación cooperativista, salud y vivienda)
We estimate the price of every piece based on a system that helps us define the price per hour of production and the basics for having a decent life. 40% of every piece that you purchase is set aside for us, the artisans; the profit margin is assigned to the different social funds of the cooperative (cooperative education, health and housing).

Al diseñar, crear y producir buscamos la más alta calidad y nos da gusto mantenernos abiertas a la mejora, a nuevos aprendizajes e intercambios de saberes. Cada pieza es creada en contemplación y a mano; las pequeñas marcas y variaciones que encuentras en tu vajilla, objetos nacidos del fuego, le añaden calidad y belleza. Son, cada una, piezas únicas e irrepetibles, como cada una de nosotras.
We seek the highest possible quality all our designs and creations while staying, gladly, open for improvement, to new learning and exchanges. Each and every one of the pieces is handmade and created in contemplation; the little marks and variations that you’ll find in your pottery, objects born from fire, add beauty and quality. They are, every one of them, unique and irreplaceable, just like everyone of us.

La magia está en cada una de nuestras piezas, que se transforman con el tiempo y el uso. Notarás cómo las texturas de tus piezas, con el tiempo, adquieren nuevos matices (¡que las hacen más bellas!) y que las variaciones se acentúan. Son productos nacidos del fuego, y como todo lo vivo, cambian y requieren su cuidado. Disfrútalos y cuídalos.
Magic can be found in our pieces, which change with time and use. You’ll notice how your piece’s texture, with time, acquires new nuances (that makes them more beautiful!); variations become more evident. They are products born from fire and, like every living thing, they change and need taking care of.
De la tierra a la tierra
From the earth to the earth
Nuestra materia prima viene de los cerros, montes y laderas del lugar donde vivimos y en donde hemos vivido por generaciones; nuestras herramientas son básicas y simples (utilizamos piedras, para bruñir, tornos) y, al quemar, aprendemos nuevas formas que no solo disminuyen los costos sino consumen menos combustible. Al final, nuestros productos, creados de la tierra, regresan a la tierra con mínimo impacto ambiental. Entonces podemos decir, contentas, que somos circulares.
Our raw materials come from the hills, mountains and slopes that surround the place where we have lived for generations; our tools are basic and simple; our knowledge sophisticated. In the end, the products, created from earth, go back to the Earth. We can proudly say that we are circular.

Cooperativism way of life
We feel very proud of being cooperativistas, and of being able to share our work with you. The cooperative holds us together and ensures the continuity of our work. We learn every day, not only about clay, that we cherish so deeply, but about each other to improve as a whole. When a piece sells, we are all happy and the profit is used for the collective benefit. Being a cooperative is a constant practice, filled with challenges and achievements, based on active listening to all the voices that form us, in nurturing and love, because we are a family and we work together so that our work reaches many hearts and tables.
Nos sentimos muy orgullosas de ser cooperativistas y de compartir nuestro trabajo contigo. La cooperativa nos sostiene y asegura la continuidad del oficio. Aprendemos cada día, no solo del barro que tanto amamos, sino a escucharnos y a mejorar en conjunto. Cada pieza que se vende nos alegra a todas y las ganancias se usan para el beneficio colectivo. Ser una cooperativa es un ejercicio constante, tupido de retos y logros, fundado en la escucha activa de todas las voces que nos forman, en el cuidado y los afectos, porque somos una familia y trabajamos unidas para que nuestro trabajo llegue a muchos corazones y mesas.
