The Micaela collection evolved from the pichacha, a traditional colander used for washing maiz since prehispanic times. A collaboration between designers and artisans resulted in the first Micaelas, beautiful objects fit for use, or decoration, in modern life. Some mutations later, the bean-shaped Micaela was born.
Micaela pots may be used as fruit bowls, but also as collanders in the kitchen, as plant pots, or to create an exquisite atmosphere with a candle inside.
